New legislation means that all new catering venues need to have a grease trap/ grease interceptor in fitted and soon all catering businesses must have one. All our grease traps are BS EN1825 compliant, this is a European standard and is compliant with all local authorities/councils within the UK

Building Regulations 2000 part H - Drainage & Waste Disposal (2002 edition) states the following in regards to commercial kitchens and drainage:

2.21 Drainage serving kitchens in commercial hot food premises should be fitted with a grease separator complying with BS EN 1825-1:2004 and designed in accordance with BS EN 1825-2:2002 or other effective means of grease removal.

We have designed all our grease traps to the BS EN 1825 Specification.
